DA councillor, Maritha Coetzee, told OFM News that the municipal speaker, Washington Ntozini, has neglegted to answer written questions from her party. 

She says they will be asking the North West Local Government MEC, Fenny Goaloalwe, to intervene. But Ntozini told OFM News that the DA was making unfounded accusations.

Coetzee adds that other questions on available land belonging to the Council have been ignored since February while they only wanted to know the number of available trucks, grass fire vehicles, rescue vehicles and water equipment.

But Ntozini, however, says late on the 31st of July, at around 10pm, the council took it upon itself to reply to all DA questions, with the exception of the question by the Freedom Front Plus councillor, Michal Groenewald. 

Ntozini did not explain why the FF Plus questions were not answered and he is yet to send proof of answered questions.
