Doctor from Frankfort killed after hit and run─── 12:54 Sun, 09 Jan 2011
Frankfort - A prominent local doctor from Frankforst was killed in a road accident, about 10 kilometres outside the town last night. Free State police spokesperson Philani Mvuna says Themba Bucibo was run down by a vehicle on the R26 between Frankfort and Villiers. He died at the scene. The doctor was on his way home to Gauteng. Mvuna says Bucibo allegedly parked his vehicle next to the road and crossed it in order to "relieve himself." While he was in the middle of the road, on his way back to his vehicle, he was struck down. Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
