MEDIA STATEMENT FROM THE OFFICE OF THE PROVINCIAL COMMISSIONER OF THE SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE SERVICE IN THE FREE STATE
MISSING PERSON: DENEYSVILLE
An old granny estimated to be between 50-60 years of age has been roaming around the streets of Deneysville with no identity.
On realising that the granny is homeless, Deneysville Police rescued her and took her to the Police station where she was interviewed, it was then discovered that the old lady does not know where she is from.
She cannot tell even her name, the only thing she keeps on saying is that she has many kids.
According to the information that Deneysville Police received, the granny has been in Deneysville for almost two weeks.
The old lady is wearing Black lumber jacket with maroon top underneath, navy blue skirt and black men’s sneakers.
She speaks Afrikaans fluently and understands SeSotho as well. She is slender built, light in complexion and has lost teeth on the upper front jaw.
