Soundwave Music Week is an international online music festival supporting the emerging artists during this time of crisis, due to the worldwide pandemic. The Alliance Française de Potchefstroom, in partnership with the North-West University is creating this music festival to bring us together as a community in support of our local and “Francophone” artists. We know that our music industry and our artists have been adversely affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic and Soundwave Music Week is a great addition to your calendar bringing the festival vibe into your home.

Through Soundwave Music Week they aim for you, their audience, to create long lasting bonds with the artists on show and to take us all back to a time where we are able to enjoy the music that we love as fans. I chat to Alison Daley about this initiative.
