Nonto Msomi chats to the #OFMArtBeat about this year's FREE STATE YOUNG ARTIST AWARDS. The theme for this year is My Lockdown World - Covid-19.  They are inviting all young creatives to enter and share their talent. Listen to the podcast below.

Open to Preschool, Primary School learners ages 5-9 years old.

1st Prize: R500

2nd Prize: R300

3rd Prize: R150

Category B

Open to school leaners ages 10-14 years old.

1st Prize: R700

2nd Prize: R500

3rd Prize: R300

Category C

Open to High School learners ages 15-19 years old.

1st Prize: R1500

2nd Prize: R1000

3rd Prize: R750

Finalists in each category will be invited to the Award Ceremony where our panel of judges will announce the winners and offer professional advice to aspiring artists. The date and time will be announced as Covid-19 protocol will have to be followed. 

Learners can submit original artworks that focus on their experience during the lockdown. Artwork submissions will be accepted in a variety of mediums.
