Overall levels across the country are low, except in Bloemfontein and Kimberley where grass pollen levels are moderate.
In Bloemfontein, grasses were moderate with occasional high concentrations. Low tree counts were detected for acacia and pine, among others. Levels for weeds, such as goosefoot and mallows, were low.
In Kimberley, grasses were low to moderate. Tree levels remained very low. Low weed counts included knotweed and the carnation family. Fungal spores were high and significant levels were found for, among others, Alternaria and mushrooms.
