Allergy sufferers take note: this week’s Pollen Report from the University of Cape Town Lung Institute shows that…
In Bloemfontein, high tree counts and low grass and weed counts were recorded. The dominant tree pollen types were mulberry and waxberry. The daisy family and pigmy weeds were the only weed pollen detected. Mould levels were low.
In Kimberley, the grass, tree, weed and mould levels were low during this sampling period. Tree pollen included hackberry, mulberry, cypress and birch. The weed pollen detected included aloes, sedges and the carnation family.
