George Louca back in court | News Article
Johannesburg - George Louca is expected to appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court on Friday in connection with the murder of Teazers boss Lolly Jackson.

Louca returned to South Africa in February after losing his final appeal in the Cypriot Supreme Court, the last of several attempts to avoid extradition.

He fled South Africa after the murder of strip club boss Jackson at a house in Edenglen, on the East Rand, on May 3, 2010.

He allegedly phoned Gauteng crime intelligence boss Joey Mabasa and confessed to killing Jackson shortly after the murder.

During his appearance on February 10, Louca told the court he needed between seven and 14 days to find an attorney.

He appeared again on February 18, and the matter was postponed.

Magistrate Prince Manyathi said the charges against Louca included murder and money laundering.

Prosecutor JJ du Toit said Louca, who had used the alias George Smith, was allegedly involved in four criminal cases at various courts.
