Vigil held for Zuma─── 06:25 Fri, 08 Jun 2018
Several hundred people spent the night outdoors - praying for Jacob Zuma. The National Interfaith Council of South Africa hosted a night vigil at Albert Park yesterday, in the lead up to today.
Zuma makes his second appearance before a judge - since 16 charges, among them fraud and corruption - were reinstated against him earlier this year.
The council hosted another night vigil before Zuma’s first appearance in April.
OFM correspondent Bernadette Wolhuter reports a few hundred people turned up to voice their support for the former president - despite the winter chill.
