A second fire at Crown Mines outside Johannesburg─── 16:51 Sun, 10 Oct 2010
A second fire has been reported in Crown Mines on the outskirts of the Johannesburg city centre, this time affecting three businesses. Fire fighters were called to the blaze at around 3 o'clock this morning after reports a chicken wholesaler, a sweets warehouse and a furniture and decor factory were on fire. Emergency services’ Percy Morokane said fire fighters suspect the fire may have been caused deliberately and the situation warrants further investigation. The incident happened just within 24 hours of a blaze at the China Shopping Mall in the same area. No civilians were hurt in either incident.
