Planned outage affecting Driedorp Substation scheduled for Sunday, 16 September 2012


There will be a total shutdown of Driedorp Substation on Sunday, 16 September, from 06:00 until 18:00 due to planned maintenance. Driedorp Substation supplies Wepener, Hobhouse and Dewetsdorp. The shutdown will affect:

• Driedorp Substation
• Van Stadensrus customers
• Welbedachtdam Substation
• Novo Substation
• Kneelpoort Substation
• Dewetsdorp Substation
• Dewetsdorp Municipality and town
• Hobhouse town and township
• Wepener-Qibing
• Wepener-Ebeheizer Hoogte
• Wepener town
• Driedorp Bosmanskop line
• Driedorp Hobhouse line
• Welbedachtdam Columbo line
• Driedorp Thabatel line
• Driedorp Rooiberg line
• Driedorp Dewetsdorp line
• Driedorp Wepener line
• Driedorp Bulsberg line
