Young girls and women who would like to get involved in agriculture need to broaden their scope or vision. This, as agriculture is so much more than what they may think it is. This is the advice that Dr Patricia Froneman, State Veterinarian in Frankfort in the Free State, have for women on Women’s Day. She says that there are many paths within agriculture from where a career can sprout from. Froneman says agriculture will also always be seen as one of the most important sectors, as it is a sector that feeds the world.
