Bloemfontein. - Ireland’s South African forward coach Gert Smal today denied all rumours that his team understand Afrikaans. This comes after Springbok-lock Victor Matfield said the Irish lock-forward Paul O’Connol could read and understand their line-out calls, resulting in the one of the Boks’ poorest line-performances this year. Ireland won the Boks 15-10 at Croke Park on Saturday, handing the Springboks their second defeat in three Tests played in Europe on their end-of-year tour….
