Agrizzi released an audio tape he recorded in May 2016 at the house of Linda Mti. It was allegedly taken during a meeting between himself, Mti and his former boss, after Mti and the NPA's Nomgcobo Jiba were implicated in the media.

In this recording, Gavin Watson role plays what he will say to former President Jacob Zuma to deal with the matter.

Watson is heard saying he will demand that Zuma remove certain people from the NPA and replace them with others who would ensure that this matter dies out. Agrizzi says Watson had a close relationship with Zuma.
