Former prisons boss Linda Mti is among five people arrested by the Hawks on Wednesday for corruption, money laundering and fraud related to Bosasa contracts.
They're expected to appear in court later on Wednesday in connection with allegations of corruption, inter alia, linked to Bosasa contracts with the Department of Correctional Services.
Justice & Correctional Services Minister Micheal Masutha said last week that the department was looking at ways to extricate themselves from all Bosasa contracts.
