Angelo Agrizzi told the Zondo Commission into state capture, Bosasa CEO Gavin Watson had instructed him to arrange monthly payments for Frolick.

He says this was to motivate him in persuading ANC MP Vincent Smith to side with Bosasa.

Agrizzi has told the state capture inquiry that Bosasa paid Frolick R40,000 a month.

"Gavin Watson told Florick to do whatever possible to win over Vincent Smith or to try and manoeuver him out of that position. I remember vividly that Gavin Watson said to me we have to arrange R40 000 every month and deliver it to Cedric Florick...or take it down to PE at as well."

Agrizzi also says Justice Minister Michael Masutha once stayed at the PE home of Watson. This apparently happened in 2015, during a conference in the city.

He says Watson and Frolick arranged the meeting with the minister.

"There was a conference in PE and Gavin called me to a meeting. Cedric Florick was going to help him organise accommodation for Minister Masutha. He stayed in the house and then a meeting took place."
