BLF in full support of Jacob Zuma─── LUCKY NKUYANE 15:51 Mon, 20 May 2019
Black First Land First (BLF) and its leader, Andile Mngxitama, have thrown support behind the embattled former presidents, Jacob Zuma, on Monday during a court appearance on charges of corruption.
Zuma presented a new legal team in court today bringing three arguments in favour of a permanent stay of prosecution.
His lawyers in court argued that he should have been tried with Schabir Shaik as the charges against him - that have been standing for at least 15 years - has no substance.
This as he is facing numerous charges, including racketeering, money laundering and corruption. Addressing hundreds of Zuma supporters at the Pietermaritzburg High Court, Mngxitima dismissed the claims against Zuma as nothing but propaganda perpetuated by comrades within the African National Congress (ANC).
The SABC reports that Zuma ‘s lawyer Muzi Sikhakhane has told the Court that he will reveal details from the spy tapes about individuals who want to trap his client.
