Police monitoring situation on R82─── 15:56 Thu, 27 Jun 2019
Police are busy monitoring the situation after the R82 road had been barricaded between Rustervaal and Roshnee in the Vaal.
Residents from these two areas are unhappy, demanding feedback from the office of the Gauteng Premier David Makhura, as well as minister of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation Lindiwe Sisulu.
The residents want feedback after claiming that the premier and minister are ignoring an eviction notice that was previously issued by the court, to evict illegal land invaders in the area.
Several attempts were made by OFM News to the Premier and minister's offices for comment have been fruitless.
No arrests have been made as of yet.
