Social grants to increase─── 17:39 Tue, 01 Oct 2019
Social grant beneficiaries will be receiving an increase from Tuesday.
Both child support grants and the grant-in-aid will go up to R430 per child.
The increases were announced in Finance Minister Tito Mboweni's budget speech earlier this year.
Paseka Letsatsi, the South African Social Security Agency spokesperson said the increase is an add-on to the initial increase that took effect earlier this year.
