A fourth suspect in the six-year-old Amy'Leigh de Jager's kidnapping case, Mohlomohi Bafokeng, is in the country Illegally and his case was postponed to 11 October for a formal bail application.

The 24-year-old Bafokeng does also not stay at the address he provided the police. For this reason, state prosecutor Ntombi Marase has strongly opposed bail.

Bafokeng, a Lesotho national, and three other accused, Pieter van Zyl (50), Tharina Human (27), and Laetitia Nel (40), face charges of kidnapping and extortion, following allegations they kidnapped De Jager outside her school in September.

Yesterday the court heard that the six-year-old is traumatised and a doctor's report says she has developed a stomach ulcer following the kidnapping.

The Vanderbijlpark Magistrate's Court also heard that the six-year-old was scared to return to school, and asked her parents if she won't be kidnapped again.
