Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane is welcoming the court's decision to dismiss Helen Zille's application to have her report set aside.
Mkhwebane found Zille's tweets praising colonialism were a violation of the ethics code.
Zille wanted that report set aside.
The North Gauteng High Court dismissed the application with costs.
The Public Protector was acting in response to a complaint by Khaya Magaxa of the Western Cape Provincial Legislature.
The ANC in the Western Cape says its also pleased with the ruling.
