Justice and Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola will visit the Waterval Correctional Centre in Utrecht, KwaZulu-Natal.
That's where a tornado caused significant damage on Friday evening.
Prison officials whose houses were damaged, have been moved elsewhere on the grounds.
It's the third time this month a tornado has hit KwaZulu-Natal.
The first one caused extensive damage in New Hanover and the second was confirmed in Bergville.
