#SAlockdown level 4: Sassa offices set to reopen─── 06:15 Mon, 11 May 2020

The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) will be resuming operations on Monday.
Sassa offices have been closed since the lockdown began in March.
The reopening of offices will assist old age applicants who turned 60-years-old just before or during the lockdown.
Those who have lost employment as a result of COVID-19 will also be given an opportunity to apply for the unemployment grant.
Sassa is also adopting a risk-adjusted approach as it re-introduces services at offices. Children will not be allowed.
All clients will be screened, hand-sanitised and they must wear masks at all times.
