There are 1,837 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.
This brings the total number of positive cases to 29,240.
Thirty-four more people died from COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 611.
According to the Health Department, a total of 680,175 tests have been conducted cumulatively of which 24 452 tests have been conducted since the last report.
More than 14,000 people have recovered, resulting in more than 50 percent recovery.
