Taxi industry meeting postponed again─── 08:11 Sun, 28 Jun 2020
The much-anticipated meeting between Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula and the taxi industry has been postponed again.
It's unclear why the meeting was postponed but it was expected to iron out the taxi relief deadlock.
Taxi associations have rejected government's proposed R1-billion cash injection.
They say it's simply not enough, and have vowed to increase taxi fares to recoup money lost due to the lockdown.
