This group of detainees is said to have escaped after breaking hole through a wall.

Police spokesperson, Sabata Mokgwabone, says during a subsequent manhunt two of the suspects were arrested again by police in that area.

Mokgwabone says the suspects, aged between 20 and 40, face various charges including assault, burglary, theft, and possession of suspected stolen goods.

"Investigation into the matter is underway and police request anyone who may have information that can lead to the re-arrest of the escapees to call the nearest police station or contact Koster Detectives Brànch Commander at 0823739689," Mokgwabone adds.

In May a 20-year-old man, Kagiso Nakedi, was re-arrested after he escaped from detention and evaded arrest for 12 days in Delareyville near Lichtenburg.

Nakedi was apprehended with the assistance of residents after providing a tip-off to police in the area.
