Chill 'will blow over by Heritage Day'─── 11:13 Tue, 22 Sep 2020
Residents across Gauteng, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga woke up to much cooler conditions on Tuesday morning, with the mercury dropping significantly throughout the night.
The South African Weather Services (SAWS) says there is a small possibility of thunderstorms over Gauteng on Tuesday afternoon. Weather forecaster, Brensby Bulo, says there is a possibility of thunderstorms over the northern provinces and the Free State into Wednesday.
He says residents of the central parts of the country can expect the sunny weather to return from Wednesday – warming up ahead of Thursday’s Heritage Day.
"From Wednesday, temperatures are expected to move high again, no rain is expected. Into the weekend, fine conditions will dominate the southern and eastern parts of the country, the south coast of Western and Eastern Cape are having high chances of rainfall," adds Bulo.
