The Health Department says 1,461 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.
The recovery rate is at 90 percent.
A 139 more people have died due to COVID-19, with 65 of these from KwaZulu-Natal.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 17,547.
