The Port Elizabeth High Court is expected to hand down judgment on Wednesday in the appeal by the Nigerian pastor, Timothy Omotoso, after his most recent bail application was turned down.
Last week Judge Phillip Zilwa dismissed his application for bail based on new facts.
It was Omotoso's third unsuccessful bail application since his dramatic arrest at the Port Elizabeth Airport in 2017.
The 62-year-old televangelist, together with his female co-accused Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho, face 97 charges related to human trafficking, rape, and racketeering.
Sulani and Sitho are both out on bail.
