#UIF to process #Covid19 TERS benefits─── 07:34 Wed, 18 Nov 2020
The Unemployment Insurance Fund says it will open and begin processing the latest and last round of Covid-19 TERS payments from next week.
This is for the period between 16 September and 15 October and followed last week's announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The Department of Employment and Labour's spokesperson, Musa Zondi, says the extension has been subject to robust discussions with social partners at the National Economic Development and Labour Council.
Zondi says they're still busy processing the backlogs.
