Ousting Ramaphosa: ATM in court over secret ballot─── 06:00 Thu, 03 Dec 2020
The ATM is heading to court on Thursday to force a secret ballot in the motion of no confidence in President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The party has approached the Western Cape High Court on an urgent basis.
It says National Assembly Speaker Thandi Modise's decision to refuse a secret ballot is irrational and biased.
The DA and UDM say they will not participate, describing the motion as frivolous.
The ATM brought a motion of no confidence against Ramaphosa in February which was delayed due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
