Report on Magashule not urgent: ANC─── 06:00 Thu, 17 Dec 2020
A leaked report recommending ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule step aside, is not urgent enough to warrant a special NEC meeting.
That's according tothe governing ANC.
Its IntegrityCommission report advises Magashule vacate his office immediately and isscathing in its criticism of the ANC NEC.
The IntegrityCommission says the ANC NEC is scared to act against Ace Magashule, and avoidsimplementing its resolutions.
The ANC has condemnedthe report being leaked, and says it won't comment on itsrecommendations.
"We willactually call on members of the ANC, and everyone else that occupies a positionof responsibility in the organization, to desist from leaking information thatmight otherwise sponsor divisions in the organization," said ANCspokesperson, Pule Mabe.
Despite the report calling forMagashule's immediate suspension if he refuses to step aside, the ANC saysthere's no rush to convene a special NEC meeting to discuss it.
