#CoronavirusSA: First batch of vaccines en route─── 06:08 Mon, 01 Feb 2021
The plane carrying South Africa's first batch of vaccines has left India.
It is expected to arrive in the country on Monday.
"The shipment left Mumbai this morning, via Dubai and will arrive at OR Tambo International Airport tomorrow morning," said Sbu Ndebele, South Africa's High Commissioner to India.
"It is the most safely, highly guarded commodity and I can assure that there will be no danger of it being tampered with."
