6,787 new Covid-19 infections have been identified countrywide.

Coronavirus cases in the Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and Gauteng remain high.

1,967 cases were reported in the Western Cape, 1,442 in KZN, and Gauteng recorded over 1,000 new cases.
