SANBS in need of blood─── 07:05 Thu, 30 Dec 2021
The country has, like previous years, encountered an increase in road accidents this time of the year - this has resulted in a shortage of blood at different hospitals.
Mofumahadi Manapo regional hospital, Elizabeth Ross - both located in the Maluti-A-Phofung local municipality - the Phekolong and Dihlabeng hospitals - both in Dihlabeng - are among those in serious need of blood.
The SABS has urged people to donate blood to help those admitted to hospitals. Blood donors are encouraged to eat properly before making a donation.
Blood can be donated at the Mandela Park shopping center in Qwaqwa and Dihlabeng mall in Bethlehem among others.
