Only one person has succumbed to the coronavirus (Covid-19) over the past 24 to 48 hours.
1571 new cases have been recorded.

Gauteng meanwhile still has the most new cases with 533.
As of today the cumulative number of #COVID19 cases identified in SA is 3 693 532 with 1 571 new cases reported. Today 03 deaths have been reported bringing the total to 99 712 deaths. It's followed by the Western Cape with 382 and KwaZulu-Natal with 313 new infections.
The country has over 20,000 active cases and the positivity rate is 5.8 percent.
People are urged to continue following precautionary measures.
