KZN: Bus accident leaves scores injured─── 09:48 Mon, 02 May 2022
Medi Response advanced life support paramedics together with a search and rescue division and other services, are currently on scene on the N2 near Tinely Manor.
This is where a bus has reportedly collided with temporary cement barriers, resulting in a mass casualty.
Paramedics responded to reports of the bus accident, shortly after 03h00.
On arrival it was established that a bus had been traveling from Umzimkulu to Nongoma, when it struck a barrier and overturned.

Crews are working to manage the scene. At this stage triage has indicated that two persons are seriously injured, seven moderately injured and a further 66 have sustained minor injuries.
The Jaws of Life had to be used to free one of the seriously injured passengers.
The South African Police Services were on scene and will investigate further.
