One dead after #HeavyRains in KZN─── 06:23 Mon, 23 May 2022

The eThekwini Municipality has confirmed that one person has drowned following heavy rains in KwaZulu-Natal.
More than 200 people have been evacuated in Umlazi, Durban North, and Verulam.
"Since last night we have evacuated over 200 people, much less than the numbers that we saw a month ago when we evacuated over 10 000 people within two days, " said eThekwini Municipality Deputy City Manager Musa Gumede.
Last month, deadly floods claimed over 400 lives.
