Stage 4 power cuts implemented until further notice─── 08:25 Sat, 01 Apr 2023
According to Eskom, stage 4 outages will be put in place indefinitely.
According to the struggling energy provider, this is because of a worsening breakdown in producing capability and a significantly greater rise in demand.

Due to higher than anticipated demand and failure of some generating units, Stage 4 Loadshedding will be implemented until further notice.
According to a statement, four units at three power plants had to be brought offline for maintenance, and unit restoration has been delayed.
South Africans are being urged to use energy responsibly.
