Orlando Pirates have suspended their youth development programme to investigate age cheating.
Orlando Pirates have suspended their youth development programme to investigate age cheating. Pirates says in a statement the club has learned recently of instances of cheating within its ranks. The club added that the problem appears to be of a magnitude that calls for an immediate, and extensive, investigation. Pirates says it hopes the suspension of the programme won’t disrupt the schooling of the youth in its academy, and parents have been advised to make arrangements for their children to return to school nearer their homes.
