Bloemfontein - Bafana Bafana defender and Bloemfontein Celtic captain Thabo Nthethe has extended his stay with the club for another three years.
After the past few days off-field drama with the resignation former head coach Clinton Larsen, Nthethe’s contract extension comes as welcome news.
Celtics’ public relations officer, Sello Nduna told OFM Sport that they are delighted to have retained the services of the defender.
The 29-year-old has been with the club for the past nine years and has won two titles with Siwelele - the 2005 SAA Super 8 and the 2012 Telkom Knockout.
Nthethe, who is away with the Bafana Bafana in Morocco, said Celtic is like a family to him.
