South Africa finds itself in the middle of the worst drought in decades as the lack of rainfall devastates the agricultural sector.
Economic sectors are also feeling the effects of the drought. While reports state that agriculture provides thousands of jobs, virtually every other industry has indirect links to it and there's almost no South African industry that isn’t indirectly linked to it.
OFM News’ Refilwe Gaeswe spoke to the Agricultural Business Chamber’s CEO, John Purchase, on how the drought has affected the country’s economy.
