Research done on ME or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome | News Article

ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) or the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) is a reality.

More than 90% of people who suffer from a systemic neuro-immune condition known as ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) or the Chronic FatigueSyndrome (CFS) have not been diagnosed with the condition yet.

In America more than 1.5 million people are suffering from it. As these people are not receiving appropriate treatment and need healthcare advice, the ME/CFS Foundation South Africa was established to focus on awareness, diagnoses, and treatment of the disease.

New research on ME/CFS provides hope. OFM News’ Christal-Lize Muller spoke to an expert and someone who suffers from the disease.
