London - The royal family has released the first official picture of Princess Charlotte with her older brother Prince George.
The four photographs were taken by Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.
According to Kensington Palace, the photographs were taken in mid-May at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, the country home she shares with Prince William when not at their official residence at Kensington Palace in London.
The pictures are the first to feature the two royal children together, and the first of Princess Charlotte since she was born.
At the same time, Charlotte will be christened on 5 July at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham where William and Kate, known officially as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have a country home on Queen Elizabeth's estate in eastern England.
It will be conducted by Archbishop Justin Welby, the spiritual head of the Anglican Church, who also oversaw the christening of her Prince George, who will celebrate his second birthday next month.
