The sky will light up this Friday evening at the annual night shooting exercise in Bloemfontein.
Leon Jaftha, from 1 SA Tank Regiment, is inviting everyone to watch battle tanks shoot it out in a safe and fun environment.
The event is taking place at De Brug on the N8 towards Kimberley, approximately 29 kilometres from Bloemfontein. Gates open at 3pm.
He says routes will be marked, and the action starts at 5pm. Jafta says the entertainment will last two hours with six tanks that will be firing.
Entrance is free, and people are welcome to bring their own refreshments. It's an event for the whole family.
