Fire at Thabong Shopping Centre contained─── 08:56 Wed, 14 Jul 2021

The situation remains calm at the Thabong Shopping Centre in Sebokeng in the Vaal Triangle on Wednesday morning after a fire there has been contained.
No incidents were reported on Tuesday night, however, firefighters had to rush to the shopping centre on Tuesday afternoon, this after the smoke was seen coming from the roof of the shopping centre.
The Emfuleni Fire quickly arrived at the scene and contained the fire before it spread to other parts of the shopping centre.
It is still unclear whether the fire is caused by looters, or just an accident.
When OFM News revisited the centre on Tuesday afternoon after the looting, the shops were empty.
