Bloemfontein - Visitors to the closed Krugersdrift Dam and Soetdoring Nature Reserve angling spots could return to these spots by the end of July.
According to spokesperson for the Free State Department of Economic Development, Tourism, Environmental Affairs and Small Business, Kgotso Tau, the tender for upgrades is open, and if everything goes according to plan, it could open by the end of July.
This comes after fish died in large numbers at these establishments in February this year, as well as ablution blocks were vandalised.
Tau says they hope to make the target date in order for the public to enjoy the amenities.
