“It’s a rallying cry for empowerment and active participation in shaping our shared future. ”
Mid-Morning Magic’s Yolanda Maartens speaks to Nonto Msomi, project manager at the Art Bank of South Africa, about this contemporary South African art exhibition.
“Invictus – Spirit of Democracy” resonates deeply with South Africa’s current struggles while celebrating the nation’s democratic spirit.
This exhibition combines contemporary art with powerful narratives, showcasing Thalente Khomo’s photographs of memory, Azael Langa’s Mobile Home pieces capturing daily survival, and Thembinkosi Ntuli’s vibrant beaded depictions of African praise.
