Golden era of art, music takes centre stage at St Michael’s in Bloemfontein─── 09:39 Thu, 08 May 2025

The Secret Artists Club invites you to celebrate Mother’s Day in La Belle Époque – the golden era of music and art in Europe. Hosted at St Michael’s Chapel in Bloemfontein on 11 May.
Diandra Steenekamp joins Yolanda Maartens in the OFM Art Beat to unpack the golden era of art and music, La Belle Epoque.
Treat the extraordinary women in your life to an unforgettable Mother’s Day afternoon, filled with class, romance, refinement, and the golden glow of a bygone era. The Secret Artists Club will be reviving the beauty and spirit of one of history’s most enchanting cultural periods: Europe’s “Beautiful Age” (1871–1914).
This fully packed concert features a rich selection of vocal and instrumental works from beloved composers such as Gabriel Fauré, Giacomo Puccini, Camille Saint-Saëns, Jules Massenet, Jacques Offenbach, and more.
