“She played candy crush way too much , I had to delete her” says Angelica Smith
A Philadelphia woman is in critical condition after being shot in both legs several times. Sophia Jones, 35, was rushed to the hospital immediately after being shot by her friend, Rod Black.
Rod Black, 21, is currently in custody and has been charged with possession of weapon of a convicted felon, attemptednmurder, and aggravated assault. Jones is fighting for her life after being shot more than five times. She has suffered an immense amount of blood loss after being shot in both femoral ateries, major arteries in the legs responsible for supplying blood to the lower limbs.
In addition to the wounds, Jones is being treated for an allergic reaction that was the result of the emergency blood transfusion. In the event that Jones dies, Black will be charged with murder in the first degree.
According to investigators, the conflict between Black and Jones began over Facebook last month when Sophia Jones sent Rod Black over 100 Candy Crush requests in a single day. “Every day shorty was buggin me with these request asking for extra lives. I told her she was gone get her life took if she kept sending me these requests. She must’ve thought I was playing but as you can see, I don’t play them games” Black told authorities. Black claims he even blocked Jones from sending invites but he still continued to get the requests.
“She played candy crush way too much , I had to delete her” says Angelica Smith, a close friend of Sophia, “she was becoming way too annoying, and honestly it is really not that surprising that someone shot her”. According to the police report, Sophia sent Rod and almost all her 3,000 Facebook friends an average of 100 candy crush invites daily to all of her friends. Nurses reported that Sophia, while fighting for her life, asked for her smartphone so she can play “one more round of candy crush before I die”.
Sophia Jones’ family has set up a GoFundMe account to help pay for hospital expenses and prayer vigil will be held at St Johns Cathedral on Saturday where friends amd family of Sophoa Jones will come together to pray for her.
